At least the ones I've given birth to...I have 2 more that I love just as much! They are my daughters' husbands, but we can't seem to get everyone together in the same place!

- I am a christian. I am a wife of 25 years. I'm a proud mother of 5 wonderful children. In raising a large family, you sometimes lose sight of who you are. I love this quote from Fracesca in the movie Bridges of Madison County: "You don't understand, no-one does. When a woman makes the choice to marry, to have children; in one way her life begins but in another way it stops. You build a life of details. You become a mother, a wife, and you stop and stay steady so that your children can move. And when they leave they take your life of details with them. And then you're expected to move again only you don't remember what moves you because no-one has asked in so long. Not even yourself." If you ask me about myself, I would most likely begin telling you about my children. Lately I've realized that I need to do a few more things for myself. I need a little more "fun" in my life. I (and many others) have been asking myself what I like to do for "fun". The true answer is, "I don't know." I am on a journey to find out......so please come along...you'll probably die of boredom, but come along anyway!
